Mia you were so perfect and so longed for I had you growing inside me for 5 precious months and i'll
always tresure the short time we had together. I sadly lost your twin at 8 weeks pregnant and hope
your both together now. Im sorry you grew your wings before I could say hello and hold you and I
hope we'll meet again one day, I'll never forget you my precious precious daughter.
Me & daddy were so happy when we found out we were expecting twins, shocked but happy then we found
out your twin was attached to the ceasaran scar tissue - a rare form of eptopic, and sadly he/she
passed away at 8 weeks preg. you mia were so strong and all was going well until 16 weeks when it
was discovered you had a low placenta (previa) i was in and out of hosp due to heavy bleeding but
even my consultant thought the worst that would happen was another c sec. Then at 22 weeks my waters
broke, i spent 2 days in hosp where they discovered i had a bad infection. On 23/01/09 at 22+2 weeks
pregnant I went into labour, I was 5cm dilated and due to the low placenta I started heomoraging I
was rushed to theatre for a ceasaran and had 3 blood transfusions to save me, but Mia's placenta had
come away a few minutes before they could get to her and at only 22 weeks they had to watch her for
signs of life before they could try to resusitate her. she had already grown her wings.
I will always treasure the time we got to spend with you Mia, you had my dark hair and my nose, I'll
never know what colour your eyes were but im sure they were green like mine. You also had big feet
in comparison to your body - so cute, my baba girl. I miss your kicks and listening to you on the
doppler at night.
